Yael
Family is clearly important to Yael which seems to be the main focus of her project and what home seems to her. I like the dashboard picture because it has a story to tell it leaves questions to be answered. The picture also brings recognition in everybody of driving around with their friends. I also like how she ended it with a kind of mystery open question. I also liked the picture of a picture it gave a cool effect. In that paragraph she was ver descriptive perhaps a vacation story or narrative would have been nice. Home is family to Yael and she tied this very nicely throughout the text.

I like the idea of bringing math into the front slide it seems like a kind of twist in the plot unexpected. The text is difficult to read with the pink background and doesn't explain anything. In the picture of her sister I don't know if this was on purpose but I liked the shadow, light duality in the picture. Perhaps she can expand on this duality in there relationship, in a sibling relationship there are not only good times. In the picture only your face is in focus which draws attention to your expression. I was just wondering why you mentioned "that your mother was the photographer" what did that add to the narrative. The bracelet picture was very orange and semi forced. Perhaps a picture of the arm swaying outdoors and the natural everyday usage of the bracelet. In the bathroom picture it would be helpful if someone's reflection was in the mirror. I like the addition of your brother into the relationship it introduces conflict into a perfect family, but perhaps expand it. The stethoscope picture seemed out of place and forced, perhaps put it with other everyday objects to show the normalcy of such an item.

The opening page showed character and humor; but, if music is what is most important to you you should incorporate that into the opening page. The buddy holiday CD did not portray the teacher student relationship you wrote about which was very interesting. It brought memories of an important teachers that everybody have had in their lives. The CD seems cold when the paragraph was so full of feeling. The family picture was interesting because it was just your father. I like the way that it was cropped and you cut out other people in the picture showing the importance of you father. The body position showed the respect which you hold for your father. The friend shot was my favorite because you guys are all making such different faces showing your personalities.
