Yale's Home
Yale's opening picture took place in New Hampshire.It's scenic picture with her family members. From this picture, audience can obvious see her family is important to her life, background may shows she love travel, it's a good way to start off your project like this. Then she shows the picture with her baseball glove, this picture do not really connect to last picture but she mentioned later on she will show how her activity conncets to her home somewhere. There is one picture shows the shoot inside the car. It's a good movement fromher family to friends. My criticism here is this picture seems too empty, audience can not reach you unless they read the text, so I suggest you can change the position of camera, take a shoot from side to your friend's seat, it will be better.:)
Last, i really like the way she presents happeniess with her friend Tara. Their smile seems spontaneousness, audience can easily find out what kind of relationship between these two girls, also it can make audiences think back their friends, or
their childhood, it's amazing picture.
Elaina: Home=Family
She start off a picture from her sister's wedding. It's a sweet picture that shows her family stand in front of camera, I think it's pretty much like a religious wedding(not sure about it). Anyway, audience can easily catch her message,her family is playing very important part in her life. She used pink color for background, I think it's hard for audiences to look over with white-pink color, I sugguest you can change pink to orange, or you can fill black to the background, and white for text. Next picture shows her with her sister in Israel. This picutre was taken by her mother, showed she have good time with her sister. It pretty much conncet to last picture.
It's interesting to see her bathroom picture. How she handle problem with share one bathroom with her brother. If you can show some your brother's stuff in the bathroom, that will be great:)
Nice opening picture. I like white-black style picture, focus is on the right bottom of the picutre. Your facial emotion can make audience guess what you are doing, it's pretty funny way to show your humor. Since you mentioned you love music, audience can assume youwere singing. Next he showed a CD cover with a drummer. The picture doesn't tell much, but from his text, we know why is that CD so important to him. It's good way to show this picture after first one, because it can make audiences know how music take part of your life. Then he showed the picture with two best friend from high school. Their facial expressions are funny because the different style of smiles.
Last picture he showed to us is really good. This picture show he and his father, it's some kind of respect between two generation. His father lean to Fred, but he is not smile, it could bring out lots of message from her father. Throught Fred's text, we find out his father has a dangerous job, and Fred feel his dad is hero because he work hard and take care of whole family. It's really a feeling from his heart, good picture and good text. No criticism. :)
